Computer game meets audio play podcast. The universe of the computer game Anno will soon be available to experience in a completely new way – as an elaborately produced audio drama with original music scored by the SWR Symphony Orchestra and composed by the creators of the iconic Anno soundtrack.
Michael Viol from We Are Producers is responsible for the audio production of the cinematically realized audio drama. This includes not only the recording of the actresses in our studio in Berlin, but also the creation of an audio world that transports us back to the year 117. A big thank you goes to Moritz Haase and Mareen Kothe from Guter Content and to the directors Roman Ruthardt and Lars Henriks for the great collaboration!
Anno is an absolute legend among German-language computer games. The first part of the Anno series was released over 27 years ago. The radio play podcast “The Roman Dream” will soon tell the official prequel to the new part of the Anno series – “Anno 117: Pax Romana”.
Post-production of the first episode is already in full swing. But you’ll have to be patient a little longer: It starts on August 20 – just in time for gamescom. You can already subscribe to the podcast in the ARD Audiothek so you won’t miss an episode. More to follow soon…
