A strange family – a village – a dark secret – after the success of the first season with over 880,000 allusions in the ARD Audiothek, Radio Bremen (in charge), MDR, rbb, SWR and hr are releasing the second season of the podcast “Lost in Neulich”. Who is the dead woman from the car wreck that was recovered from the lake? Who killed her? Is Jana really a boy? And how much weed can Grandma Lüders grow before she falls foul of the law? Many questions remain unanswered, now the story finally continues. And things remain turbulent in the Lüders’ big city family of five and in the village of Neulich…
We produced the audio for this elaborate fiction podcast for our partner Audiowunder – from recording and editing to sound design, mixing and mastering. Michael Viol (Head of Audio at We Are Producers) paid particular attention to making the small town of Neulich and the associated rural life as tangible as possible. The first episode of the new season had it all: here alone we had to create 20 different locations, which we brought to life with great attention to detail.
The new season of the fiction series “Lost in Neulich – Kein Dorf für Anfänger” is available exclusively in the ARD Audiothek. The popular and serialized podcast with soap elements started on Wednesday, December 7, 2022. The episodes are released every Wednesday (each approx. 20 minutes long). The first season is now available everywhere where podcasts are available.
