A weird family – a village – a dark secret – after the success of the first season with over 880,000 plays in the ARD Audiothek, Radio Bremen (lead), MDR, rbb, SWR and hr are releasing the second season of the podcast “Lost in Neulich”.

For our partner Audiowunder, we realized the audio production of this elaborate fiction podcast – from the recording and editing to sound design, mixing and mastering. A special focus in the work of Michael Viol (Head of Audio at WE ARE PRODUCERS) was to make the small town of Neulich and the country life that goes with it as tangible as possible. The first episode of the new season had it all: There were 20 different scene locations to be created, which we brought to life with great attention to detail.

The new season of the fiction series “Lost in Neulich – Kein Dorf für Anfänger” is exclusively available in the ARD Audiothek. The popular and serially narrated podcast with soap elements started on Wednesday, December 7. The episodes always appear on Wednesdays (each approx. 20 min. in length). In parallel, the first season is now available wherever podcasts are available.
