How to Fiction: How to Tell Stories Through Audio
The network format final_final_version-2 is back from its summer break!We’re excited to share insights into a topic we’re passionate about: How can you tell a story with – or within – audio? Once again, we’ve brought in some expert support: Roman Ruthardt has been working for more than 15 years as a radio director for audio drama, features, audiobooks, literature and other formats for renowned broadcasters and publishers (ARD Audiothek, rbb kultur, SWR Kultur, NDR Kultur, Diogenes, Hörbuch Hamburg, and many more). We’ve collaborated with Roman as director on projects such as Lost in Neulich 2 & 3 and Der Römische Traum – an Anno Story. Using Der Römische Traum as an example (which we’ll also listen to, of course), we’ll show how we create immersive audio scenes. We’ll discuss music, dramaturgy, and immersion.
